​La Historia de El Nayar
El nombre El Nayar se originó en el estado de Nayarit, México. Provino del rey del estado, el rey Nayar. Fue Legislador y Rey Fundador del REINO de "Huaica o Xécora"; defensor de la tribu CORA que tuvo su asiento en la SIERRA del NAYAR, donde resistió la conquista durante más de doscientos años. El rey Nayar empuñó el cetro en el año 1500, y según algunos autores, murió en 1616; después de su muerte fue considerado un dios por los Coras. Cuando los españoles lograron entrar en la Sierra del Nayar, encontraron en la Mesa del Tonati numerosos santuarios, en uno de los cuales encontraron los restos del rey Nayar, atados a una silla.

El Nayar
The name El Nayar originated from the state of Nayarit, Mexico. It came from the king of the state, the king Nayar.He was Legislator and Founding King of the KINGDOM of "Huaica or Xécora"; defender of the CORA tribe that had its seat in the SIERRA del NAYAR, where it resisted the conquest for more than two hundred years. King Nayar wielded the scepter in the year 1500, and according to some authors, he died in 1616; after his death he was considered a god by the Coras. When the Spaniards managed to enter the Sierra del Nayar, they found many shrines in the Mesa del Tonati, in one of which they found the remains of King Nayar, tied to a chair.
